It's been a month since Emerson's first music lesson. His instructor is the former Benemerito Orchestra Director, Manuel Othon. The music practices at home are not always easy and require so much of our attention right now. But they are paying off! He's learning quickly and playing the xylophone and recorder.
Last week while he worked on writing the C Major Scale he wrote a short song. You can look for it in the photo above. I was playing the piano while he worked on his music and when he finished his song he asked me to play it. Made me smile! And there he is below at music class!
