Where we stayed:

 



La Selva Mariposa is a bed & breakfast run by Mari and Lou. We loved staying in their jungle oasis. Birds chirping, hammock laying, hot tub under the stars, sauna pyramid ... this place was amazing. They've really created a magical place.

 

 

 

Where we ate:

 

Every morning Mari serves a delicious breakfast at La Selva Mariposa. After that we were on and our own. We dined at the local shop below. The woman who runs this place was there from sunup to sundown. Her children were adorable and were running around entertaining us for part of the time. And  I can't get over the fresh pineapple juices she made us.

 

Where we shopped:

 

At La Selva Mariposa, Mari and Lou have a set of bikes for their guests. We didn't hesitate to ride them. Lou said that was how he got to the beach most of the time. When we pulled up to the property we notices all kinds of shops along the side of the rode. We loved being able to ride back along the road and stop at as many shops as possible. We loved the products from the honey shop below.
