We love these two places. Puebla and Cholula are very close to each other. The Plaza in Puebla is lovely and has a very Mexican colonial feel to it. I love the architecture of the buildings and the stone pathways. We spent a few hours there showing Elizabeth around and then headed to Cholula.
Cholula is about 30 minutes away from Puebla. We love Cholula and have been there a few times. We enjoy going there to walk through the undergound tunnel of the Great Pyramid of Cholula. We also climbed the Pyramid, to visit the Catholic church that was built above it. After visiting the sites we watched the Voladores de Papantla and bought helados from a vendor in the Plaza. It was the perfect way to end our trip.
