Today we went to the Pyramids with the last group of Provo MTC teachers, Some leave tomorrow and the rest leave next week. I've made some wonderful friends with them and so have the boys! It's going to be sad to see them go, they've been such a great example to me. The girls are so good, they make me want to be a better person. They've also been so helpful to our family especially with the boys. I feel like we've created some eternal friendships with them.
Here's a little bit about the site. When we entered the site we walked into an área that is referred to as the Plaza and it's surrounded by 12 small Pyramids and 3 more at the head of the Plaza. In the center of all those Pyramids is the Pyramid of Quetzalcóatl, the Feathered Serpent and represents the God of Heaven and Earth. From there you can see a huge Pyramid called the Pyramid of the Sun. We climbed to the top of it and it felt amazing to walk on those ancient stairs. The smaller pyramid that you see in the picture below is the Pyramid of the Moon.
